In the souhern end of Fraser Canyon, the waters of the Fraser River narrow to 115 feet, creating a magnificent rush of water known as Hell’s Gate. Long a salmon fishing area, the gorge also provides a dramatic backdrop for an aerial tramway which is capable of providing passage for 530 passengers per hour to the waters below.
